- Start by wiping down the shoes with a towel to get rid of any loose dirt.
- Next, remove the insoles (and laces, if washing Lace-Ups) from your shoes - you should wash these by hand in the sink for the best results.
- On the delicate/wool cycle (cold water) put your shoes in the washing machine. We suggest using a linen bag to protect the shoes.
- Air dry ONLY - do NOT tumble dry as this can ruin the shoes.
- Finally, reinsert the insoles (and laces, if applicable) and continue to enjoy your Merinos!

I finally decided I "needed" a pair of Merino flats. I already have 5 pairs of the Merino slipons but I wanted a shoe that was a little dressier. My hesitation about ordering the flats was because I was afraid they might fit too loosely in the heel and not stay on. My fears were unfounded. The flats have "staying power" without being too tight. I wore them all day the first day I got them - 10,000+ steps and 13 floors of walking/stair climbing according to my fitness tracker. Quite a workout for new shoes but at the end of the day my feet still felt great. 😊
